have ports on the front of them atop the towers just behind the throttle bar. I removed the metal pipes from the valve covers and they are just open to the atmosphere. Those ports connect into the crankcase so there is adequate venting. This is the procedure I used on my last engine as well and didn't have any issues as a result. I just hate the idea of all that oil accumulating in the intake tract, intercoolers, throttlebodies, intake manifold, valves, etc.
